Faktabaari, 2014-2017

Editor in chief and co-founding member

I helped establish and launch the fact-checking service Faktabaari, whose mission is to make the social debate in Finland even more relevant and fact-based. Our work was awarded the Grand Journalist Award (Suuri journalistipalkinto 2014) for factual verification of election reports.

I planned and carried out information operations for domestic, international and local media and acted as a media advisor to the Norwegian Commander.

I was responsible for the battalion’s psychological operations and media relations under the Finnish Commander.

This book discusses the Universal Basic Income Experiment carried out in Finland 2017–2018 and includes a fact sheet about my experiences as a ‘guinea pig’ in the experiment.

The work checked the accuracy of the candidates’ statements during the municipal elections in 2017.
